The Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL) is made up of six teams: Melbourne Ice, Adelaide Rush, Brisbane Lightning, Sydney Sirens, Perth Inferno and Melbourne Ducks.
The season is held over the summer months, with the top four teams playing off in the finals over one weekend. The 2024/25 AWIHL Finals were held at O’Brien Icehouse in March 2025 with the Melbourne Ice Women’s team winning the McKowen Memorial Trophy, continuing their dominance over the competition in recent years.

2025/2026 AWIHL REGULAR SEASON
The 2025/2026 AWIHL season will commence in November 2025. Melbourne Ice Women have 5 weekends of action packed home games for the season!

2026 AWIHL FINALS
AWIHL Finals will be at O’Brien Icehouse on the 31st of February and 1st of March 2026. Series Tickets, which grant access to all four games over both days, will initially be available exclusively through presale.
