Named for its predecessor, the famous St Moritz ice rink in St. Kilda which was destroyed by fire in 1980, our bar has a wonderful view of the ice and plenty of alcohol for those inclined.
The original St. Moritz ice rink which operated from 1939 til 1980 and was enormously popular during the war years. It accommodated more than 2000 people, had more than 1850 square meters of ice.
While our bar has yet to see the history its namesake had, you can make your own with the help of our selection of wine, beer and spirits.
The St Moritz Bar is open during all AIHL games, special events and exclusively upon request for event bookings. To make a booking, please contact our Functions & Events team here.
During the AIHL season we will be playing live sports in the bar after every game. Melbourne Ice will also be hosting ‘meet the players’ in our bar after their home games.
Alcohol may only be consumed within the bar area and cafe.
Patrons are permitted to skate after enjoying a drink in the bar or cafe, however if patrons appear to be intoxicated it is at the discretion of our staff to ask you to end your skating session.
