Coach Hope began her hockey journey in 2011 through the Icehouse Hockey Academy, where she developed a strong foundation in the sport. She quickly progressed through the ranks, going on to compete at the bantam level with Ice Hockey Victoria (IHV).
Following two successful seasons in bantam, Hope made the transition to the Melbourne Ice Women (MIW) in 2013. She has since become a long-standing and dedicated member of the team, continuing to compete at a high level within the Australian Women’s Ice Hockey League (AWIHL). Hope will be suiting up for the Melbourne Women Ducks in their upcoming inaugural season.
Outside of her AWIHL commitments, Hope remains active in the local hockey community year-round. She plays in the Senior B Winter League with the Jets and in Division 1 Summer League with the Blackhawks, maintaining her competitive edge and connection to the sport.
Passionate about growing the game, Hope is especially committed to youth development. She takes great pride in mentoring young players and helping newcomers find their place in the hockey world. Her approachable nature and deep love for the sport make her a valued coach and role model within the hockey community.
